Auto Controls was recently pleased to assist Ability Centre with their Kuka 6 Axis Milling Installation.

Ability Centre approached ACS for help with their milling robot which hadn’t been operational since its procurement in 2008.

The system was designed to mill wheelchair cushions from a  custom mould for the comfort of  those suffering from cerebral palsy

After electrical fault finding & repair, calibration of robot, jigs & fixings, programming assistance and a little training the system is now manufacturing cushions.

Ability Centre is a not for profit organisation and we were  proud to provide our services to a great cause.
