Our Projects

Overview

At a major solar installation in the South West of WA, Auto Control Systems was asked to produce a protection system to a line which maximises solar energy production for internal use, without feeding power back into the local power companies infrastructure. Both internal and external power is used, with the decision on which one to use being made by our control system. The power feeds had to be able to handle a ramp-up or ramp-down in milliseconds, without affecting power availability.

Auto Control Systems designed, engineered and installed the solution which both met and exceeded the expectations of the customer. The customer no longer receives financial penalties from the power supplier for pushing power back into the grid. See our Solar Energy Control product for more information.
