Hazardous Area Accreditation

Hazardous Area Electricians Specialised in Classification, Design and Installation

In an industry where a single mistake can lead to disastrous consequences, the trustworthiness of those designing, certifying, and installing your electrical equipment is crucial. The complexities of explosive atmospheres demand the expertise of competent and experienced professionals.

Our Hazardous Area Electricians are specialist in installing electrical equipment in hazardous areas but they can also provide additional hazardous area expertise.  From conducting audits and designing plans that ensure sites are regulation compliant, installation of these plans through to testing and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Our specialists routinely address specific challenges when visiting sites, offering tailored solutions for issues that include:

  • ATEX equipment deemed unsuitable for use in Australia without a Conformity Assessment Document,
  • Intrinsically safe equipment (Exi) proves ineffective without the necessary barrier.
  • Ex equipment requires compatible Ex cable glands.
  • Mandate for certified plugs in spare holes.
  • Equipment certified for use in gas (Zone 0,1,2) doesn’t automatically qualify for use in dust (Zone 20,21,22)
