Overview

Auto Control Systems was approached to provide an innovative solution to water control systems in several playgrounds around Western Australia. The system had to take into account several items such as safety, time of day, available water-pressure, visitor presence and ambient temperatures. Auto Control Systems used an Allen-Bradley Micrologix PLC coupled with a Proface HMI to enable both automated and manual control of the water playgrounds.

The unique design of the playgrounds required creative and specifically sequenced water jets to fire at certain intervals dependent on whether or not there was any activity at each park.
