Perth City Link

Installation of tunnel ventilation controls in Perth's City Link project.

Overview

ACS engineered and commissioned a redundant Allen Bradley Control Logix control system with Point IO on a fibre Ethernet ring network to manage the ventilation control for the train and bus tunnels which form part of the Perth City Link Project.

Incorporating new tunnels to sink the railway line under the city, the project links the city with Northbridge. The ACS system incorporated the new tunnel ventilation infrastructure with the existing Citect SCADA which manages the existing underground station infrastructure.
