As a certified Rockwell power system integrator, Auto Control Systems have been proud to deliver the first partner sourced Centerline 2500 MCC in the world.  The seven column (tier) 400A MCC features the full Rockwell Connected Components range including E300 Electronic Overloads, Powerflex 525 and Powerflex 753 drives all on an Ethernet backbone.

The MCC is destined for our of our Eastern European customers as part of an explosives manufacturing plant.  Previously the customer had been accepting Form 2 boards but with tightening of import restrictions and an increased emphasis on personal safety the Centerline 2500 became the perfect product.  The international certification via IEC61439 combined with ArcShield protection allowed the customer to feel relaxed in the knowledge that they are purchasing a superior product which provides the highest levels of protection for their operations staff.

The MCC incorporates several custom selections not available direct from Rockwell including a light and power distribution chassis, PLC tier (complete with dual Compact Logix controllers and Stratix Ethernet switches) and custom heat trace control cubicle (bucket).  All motor control equipment has an external hardware interface module (HIM) to show the operator’s performance information from the front of the MCC.

The entire MCC has been fitted into a 40-foot high-cube shipping container complete with segregated control room and laboratory.  The entire container is designed to be freighted direct to the customer’s premises ready for field wiring and connection.
