Engineers Australia, the largest and most diverse professional body for engineers in Australia, has set up an accreditation body to oversee and consider education programs offered by Australian universities and other educational institutions.

The accreditation process is governed by the Accreditation Board which makes decisions based on recommendations from the appointed evaluation panel. Educational institutions must complete a comprehensive self-review of their performance against the criteria publish by Engineers Australia.
