Since inception our people have been the most important aspect of our business. And even now with over 50 full time team members, this couldn’t be truer. There’s a real sense of ‘family’ at ACS and this was evident when we recently said farewell to two of our ‘foundation’ employees who made the decision to retire.
We thought we’d share the speeches our Directors John & Michelle Watts made when acknowledging Sally & Lee’s 16+ years with ACS.
**Sally Lothian**
John and I feel so blessed and privileged that you came into our lives 17 years ago.
You have been with us through the many highs and lows. We have laughed together, cried together and been stress heads together! But you always were there to support us. You have always not only had our backs but have looked out for everyone here at ACS. And for that we thank you.
This is not goodbye, but safe travels and see you for coffee (or bubbles ) soon.
Thank you Sally for everything
Michelle Watts

Well, it’s an end of an era as we come together to help celebrate Lee’s retirement.
I have known Lee for nearly 20 years now. It all started when I was working at IEE and we advertised for a new technician, Lee was one of the applicants. I remember during the interview Lee asked me what I was working on. On the desk was an Allen Bradley PLC with a printer connected. I said the bloody thing was giving me the ‘you know what ‘ trying to get the printer program to work. Anyway a few days later Lee contacted me and said he had a solution; he had worked it out in his own time
He got the job!
That was 20 years ago, and Lee has continued to do amazing things with our projects. Over the years he has clocked up the frequent flyer points by going away to a lot of places in Australia and overseas. I think for a time Lee was in Russia more than Australia.
It’s going to be sad to see Lee go but I hope he enjoys his well-deserved retirement in Singapore.
All the best Lee
John Watts
